A Rainy Spring

I don't remember a Spring where we've had so much rain as this one. It has been unusually wet and cold. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a rainy day now and then but everyday? I'm starting to feel like I live in the Northwest somewhere. After being inside all winter I'm longing to get out and enjoy a nice, warm, sunny day.
Rain, Rain go away....

We've had to find some other things to do indoors this Spring. One of them was going to the Dinosaur Museum. Will enjoyed running around or should I say running away from us most of the time. Evie really enjoyed seeing the displays and the hands on activities. She is a very curious girl and enjoys learning about new things. I really enjoyed seeing the trilobites/fossils that have been discovered all over the world. It's so fascinating to me that there are still things to discover and see from thousands of years ago.

Evie with the "saratops" (That's what she calls it)

Looking for dinosaur bones in the sand. Will...just throwing sand. Apparantly he didn't read the sign.

Evie stayed very far away from this display. Derek showing it who's boss. I love this next picture. My son having a temper tantrum after we took him out of the sand. I love when kids do things like that in public :)

  2. It sure has been rainy. Here's to hoping it doesn't rain during the Scottish Fest for the third year in a row!

Fun! Dino museum is always a highlight.
